Most Satara homes we work on belong to somebody who is not in Satara — which changes almost nothing about the design and everything about how the project has to be run.
The problem is not distance. It is not knowing.
A house four hours away is fine while you can see it. What wears people down is the silence between visits — approving something over a phone call, then driving down a month later to find out whether it happened the way you meant.
So the project reports itself.
You walk the finished house in VR before work starts, approve drawings and materials without travelling, and get photographs of your own site every Friday. You drive down because you want to, not to check.

That is a large part of what the weekly photo updates and the VR walkthrough are for. Plenty of second homes near Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar are commissioned by owners living in Pune, Mumbai or abroad.
Do you work in Satara, or only Pune?
Both. We have a studio in Satara at Powai Naka, and the work there is genuinely different — more bungalows, row houses and second homes than towers, which changes both the design and the way a site runs.
How will I know what is happening on site?
Photographs and a progress note reach you on WhatsApp every Friday, without you having to ask. A running snag list sits alongside it. If something has slipped, you hear about it that week rather than at handover.
How long does a project take?
A typical two or three bedroom turnkey home runs about ten to fourteen weeks on site, after the design is frozen. Design itself usually takes three to five weeks depending on how quickly decisions are made. We give you a dated programme before you sign anything.
