An interior fit-out is eight trades who mostly never meet, working in sequence on the same rooms. Almost everything that goes wrong on a site goes wrong in the gaps between them — so the way we are organised is not an org chart, it is the product.

How we run
Three things we do not bend on.
One drawing, not a chain of instructions.
The carpenter, the electrician and the painter all work from the same set the design was approved on. Most site disasters are somebody working faithfully from an older version of the truth.
The person who designed it stays on it.
Design does not get handed to an execution team and forgotten. The same people answer for it at stage nine as at stage three, which changes what gets drawn at stage three.
Nothing gets built that has not been walked.
Every scheme is stood inside before it is approved. It is the cheapest quality control there is: most mistakes are obvious at full scale and invisible on a page.
Two practices
Pune and Satara are different problems.
Pune
High-rise apartments, society rules, and a working week measured in permitted hours for wet work and material lifts. Half of what makes a Pune project run on time is logistics nobody puts in a proposal.
